chantal’s little shoes

Chantal's little shoes LLC is a small social enterprise that produces unique hand-crafted felted baby shoes. The handwork and production are done by volunteers. All profits from the sale of little shoes are donated to The Imani Project, helping children in Kenya orphaned by HIV/AIDS.  Each pair of chantal’s little shoes sold supports an orphan and his/her fostering family for one month.

The Imani Project

The Imani Project, based in Portland, Oregon, provides assistance and resources for villagers in Kenya to become community educators, caregivers, and advocates for HIV/AIDS prevention and care. In addition, The Imani Project secures individual sponsors who make it possible to place HIV/AIDS orphans with local families in their villages. Funds raised by The Imani Project also support orphans’ education, access to antiretroviral drugs, contributions of livestock, and other projects that improve the quality of life in villages.
